About Carteparcelle
Who publishes this site
Carteparcelle is published by OPL Consulting Oy, a Finnish company based in Espoo (Y-tunnus: 3222631-1, VAT no.: FI32226311). The site is independent: it is not a government service, a local authority’s service or an estate agency.
The publisher is introduced at oplconsulting.fi. Its full legal details are in the legal notice.
What the site is for
The cadastral map and planning zones are public, but spread across several services. Carteparcelle brings them together on a free map. Search an address or a cadastral reference to see the parcel, its area, the local plan (PLU) zone, easements and known risks, with a link to the official source.
How the pages are made
The data comes from open official sources: the cadastral plan (DGFiP, republished by Etalab), zoning (Géoportail de l’Urbanisme), addresses (Base Adresse Nationale), base maps (IGN) and risks (Géorisques). The Sources and licences page gives each one’s licence and the date of the version used.
Parcel, section and commune pages are produced automatically from this data, with no manual editing. A figure on a page is the source’s figure, or a calculation explained on the page, such as the area calculated from the geometry, which is distinct from the registered cadastral area. When information is missing, the page says so instead of estimating it.
The practical guides are written by hand from the official sites they cite, and show the date their sources were checked.
The site is not real-time. Each page is a snapshot of a published data version, and its date is shown.
What Carteparcelle is not
Carteparcelle does not replace the cadastre, a planning certificate, a boundary survey or a statement of risks. A parcel is a tax unit, not proof of ownership. The site never shows an owner’s name and does not let you search for a person.
Boundaries and areas are indicative. Before a purchase, a sale or a building project, check with the town hall, the cadastre office, a notary or a licensed surveyor.
Corrections and reports
An error, data that looks out of date, a display problem? Write to info@carteparcelle.fr with the address of the page and what looks wrong, with the official source if you know it. Do not send other people’s personal data.
We compare the report with the official source. If the error comes from our processing, we correct it. If it comes from the source itself (cadastre, PLU, address), only the administration that publishes it can correct it: we tell you which one. When we change a guide in substance, its check date is updated.
Your rights over personal data are described on the Privacy page.
Independence
No local authority, agency, notary or developer pays to appear on Carteparcelle or to have a page changed. Outgoing links lead to official sources.
Funding
The site is free and carries no advertising.
