Digital terrain model via terrain tiles. Off-screen samples included; gaps mean unavailable data.
Indicative sampled heights. Coarser tiles and wider sample spacing omit small terrain changes; this is not a terrain-following route length.
Illustrative sun direction only. Shadows from terrain, buildings and trees are not accounted for. Times are in French civil time (Europe/Paris).

Each contract layer's encoded zoom band and its state here. Empty is not the same as absent: a layer outside its band was never encoded at this zoom and is not a defect.

The cadastral map and PLU zoning of every parcel in metropolitan France. Search for an address, a commune or a cadastral reference, measure, place a building, print a parcel card and share the view.
Drag to move the map; scroll or pinch to zoom. Search for an address, a commune or a cadastral reference, or zoom in and tap a parcel. Layers add information to the map.
Carteparcelle is published by OPL Consulting.
Carteparcelle is still experimental and under active development. Features, coverage and presentation may change, and errors or interruptions are possible. Feedback helps us improve it.
From open public data: the DGFiP cadastral map published by Etalab, zoning from the Géoportail de l’Urbanisme, the © IGN – Plan IGN basemap and addresses from the Base Adresse Nationale (Licence Ouverte 2.0). Each section’s help button in the parcel details names its sources, licences and dates; the page linked below lists them all.

Note the parcel’s cadastral reference. An official cadastral extract is available from cadastre.gouv.fr or a public finance centre. The cadastre does not prove ownership: only a notarial deed does.
Official cadastral extract: instructions ↗For planning rules, read the planning document on the Géoportail de l’Urbanisme and ask the mairie for a certificat d’urbanisme before any project.
Carteparcelle is an aid to exploration, not an official document, survey or administrative decision. OPL Consulting does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of the public data. Check with the source and the mairie before a purchase, building work or any consequential decision.
Email info@carteparcelle.fr with a map link or the cadastral reference, the layer concerned, a description of the mismatch and a verifiable, dated source. We correct errors in our processing or presentation; an error in the original data is corrected by its producer.
No. A layer may be hidden, visible only at certain zoom levels, unavailable or incomplete, and not every commune has a published PLU. An absence does not prove that no rule or easement applies: check with the mairie.
Each source is published and imported on its own schedule: the map is not a real-time copy. Check the date shown with each piece of information and consult the source for the latest version.
Content varies by commune and source. Some layers appear only when you zoom in.
No. A parcel is a fiscal unit of the cadastre, not proof of ownership, and Carteparcelle never shows owners’ names.
Search for an address, a commune, a cadastral reference or coordinates. Zoom in and tap a parcel to open its details. Layers choose what is shown; the tools measure.
Search for the address or the cadastral reference and zoom in: the boundaries are drawn from the cadastral map (DGFiP, published by Etalab). They are indicative: only a survey by a géomètre-expert (bornage) fixes a boundary on the ground.
Search for the address and tap the parcel on the map. Its cadastral reference (commune, prefix, section, number) appears at the top of its details, with a button to copy it. Search also works the other way round, from a reference to the parcel.
Tap the parcel: its details show the cadastral area (contenance) and an area calculated from the map. The two can differ. To measure any other area or distance, use the measuring tools.
Show the PLU zoning layer and tap the parcel: the zone covering it appears on the map and in its details. Not every commune has a published PLU. The plan in force is available on the Géoportail de l’Urbanisme or at the mairie.
No, they are indicative. Map scale, source geometry and browser calculations affect the result. A boundary on the map is not a legal boundary survey, and a calculated area is not a surveyor’s measurement.
The map’s Share button creates a link that reopens the same view: the map, the layers, the selected parcel and your measurements. From its details you can also share the link to a parcel’s page.

These terms govern access to Carteparcelle and its maps. You may use the service for your own personal or professional information needs and share map links, keeping source credits and their limitations.
Without OPL Consulting’s prior written consent, do not bulk-extract Carteparcelle’s content or use the service, its tiles or its responses as a component of another service. Sharing a map link is allowed. The public data stays freely available from its producers under their own licences. Requests: info@carteparcelle.fr.
Do not bypass access controls or rate limits, disrupt the service or impose unreasonable load on it. We may restrict access where necessary to address misuse, security risks or service stability.
OPL Consulting retains its rights in the Carteparcelle service and the Maasto engine. Third-party software and data keep their own rights and licences, which these terms do not restrict.
Carteparcelle is based on public data; it is not an official cadastral document, a surveyor’s measurement or a certificat d’urbanisme. The cadastre is a fiscal document that does not prove ownership. Boundaries and measurements are indicative. Check consequential facts with the source and the mairie.
We do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, OPL Consulting is not liable for losses caused by errors in the original data or by service interruptions. These terms do not limit consumers’ mandatory rights.
